Seok / PARK HYATT
Designed by artist-architect Hugo Toro, SEOK at Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme brings Korean culture and Parisian elegance into dialogue. The architecture establishes a distinct identity through materials, light and spatial composition, drawing on the traditions and craftsmanship of both cultures.
The restaurant unfolds across three spaces: a dining bar overlooking the kitchen, a main dining room and a more intimate private salon. Each offers a different atmosphere and relationship to the culinary experience, moving from the openness of the kitchen to the conviviality of the dining room and the privacy of the salon.
SEOK reveals itself gradually. Textures, shifts in light and transitions between spaces invite guests to look closer, discovering details throughout their visit. Echoing the depth and precision of Mingoo Kang’s cuisine, Hugo Toro’s design creates a sensory setting in which architecture and hospitality come together.
