Gigi Dubai

Gigi in Dubai is a private club set by the sea, designed by Hugo Toro as a series of small buildings within a garden-like setting. The project focuses on creating a smooth connection between indoor and outdoor spaces, supported by warm natural light.

The design uses simple, tactile materials such as wood, rattan, and custom made fabrics and lighting. Striped patterns are a recurring element and help define the identity of the place.

Details throughout the space give it a lived in feeling, with a careful selection of objects and finishes. Some Italian references appear in subtle ways, including lemon motifs on the tables, reinterpreted with a local influence.
