Gigi Dubai

Gigi in Dubai is a private club set by the sea, designed by Hugo Toro as a series of small buildings arranged within a garden-like setting. The project focuses on creating a smooth connection between indoor and outdoor spaces, supported by warm natural light.

The design incorporates simple, tactile materials such as wood, rattan, and custom-made fabrics and lighting. Striped patterns are a recurring element and help define the identity of the place. Details throughout the space give it a lived-in feeling, with a careful selection of objects and finishes. Subtle Italian references appear in subtle ways, including lemon motifs on the tables, reinterpreted with a local influence.
